A domestic violence situation in the Beaumont subdivision off Kanuga Road has led to the fatal shooting of two persons Sunday night.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at about 9:32 p.m. on reports of an assault escalating to shots fired at a home in 39 Beaumont Drive. Arriving deputies located two unidentified individuals shot to death inside the residence. A person of interest was identified and taken into custody Sunday night..
Sheriff Lowell Griffin said in a Monday news release that the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there was no threat to the community. The identity of the deceased persons is yet to be disclosed pending investigations.
