Former US President Donald Trump arrived at LaGuardia Airport in New York City, today (Monday), from Florida in preparation for his trial session, and went to his former home in Trump Tower, before heading to his trial in Lower Manhattan, tomorrow (Tuesday).

"I will be leaving Mar-a-Lago Monday at 12 noon, heading to Trump Tower in New York," Trump wrote on Truth Social. And on Tuesday morning, "I'm going, believe it or not, into the courtroom… America wasn't supposed to be like this!"

For his part, New York Mayor Eric Adams warned against resorting to rioting during the trial of former President Donald Trump tomorrow (Tuesday), threatening anyone in the city who would use violence to protest during Trump's historic trial to "arrest and hold accountable whoever."

"At a time when some rioters are considering coming to our city (Tuesday), our message is clear and simple: (Take control of yourselves)," Adams said during a press conference on the eve of Trump's court appearance.

Former US President Trump will appear in Manhattan tomorrow before the court to face criminal charges, related to his alleged involvement in what is known as “money for silence” that his lawyer paid to an actress prior to his 2016 presidential campaign.

The details of the indictment and Trump's appearance in court represent a historical watershed moment during which a former US president is charged with a crime, according to the Washington Times.

Trump's supporters on the American right described the indictment as "politicized", while new American militias on the Internet vowed war.

Police in New York imposed security measures and raised the state of alert to the highest level, fearing that Trump supporters would resort to violence and chaos or any other militias.
