Investigation is active after multiple shots were fired in northeast Miami early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to the scene at about 12:30 a.m. near Northeast 2nd Avenue and 82nd Street. Arriving officials located a black Jaguar shattered with bullet holes. Over 30 evidence markers were located at the scene. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle, suspected to be in his 20s was transported to Ryder Trauma Center, where he was listed in a critical condition.

No suspect descriptions was immediately given. The car was towed away just after 4 a.m.
