Samuel Sean Collington shot and killed in North Philly
Samuel Sean Collington Death : A Temple University student identified as Samuel Sean Collington is dead mid-day Sunday after being struck by gunfire in Northside Philadelphia.
Police say the 21-year-old fellow with the City Commissioner’s Office, sustained gunshot injuries twice to the chest. Responding officers transported him to the Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 2 p.m.
Preliminary investigations show Collington was attacked by a suspect as he was parking his vehicle just a block away from University main campus at 2252 North Park Avenue (Park and Dauphin)
Authorities say Collington was from Prospect Park, and a senior and political science student. A democracy fellow in the Office of the Philadelphia City Commissioners.
