Donnika Renee Sills Death – Cause of Death – Donnika Renee Sills, 30, was killed in a shooting in Birmingham near the Empire Gentlemen’s Club early Sunday morning, 28th of November 2021. Authorities responded to a call about the sound of gunshots on the 100 block of 3rd Avenue North around 3:30 a.m. Responding deputies located Donnika lying unresponsive on the ground near the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The Birmingham Police Department said a ShotSpotter in the area told them that over 10 rounds were fired. Upon arrival, the Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel responded and pronounced Donnika dead. Initial investigation suggests that the shooting may have been the result of a verbal argument between the victim and the unknown suspect or suspects. No one in custody.
