Carrie Meek Death – Cause of Death – On the 28th of November 2021, Carrie Mae Pittman Meek an American politician from Florida, passed away at the age of 95. She died at her home in Miami on the 28th of November, 2021. Reports mentioned that Carrie who was a member of the Democratic Party, served from 1979 to 1982 as a representative to the Florida house of representatives.

She became a senator to the Florida senate from 1982 to 1992 and then from 1993 to 2003, she became a representative to the United States House of Representatives, representing Florida’s 17th congressional district. Meek was married twice to first husband; Lucius Davis and second husband; Harold Meek. Both marriages ended in divorce. She had three children, two daughters and a son, Kendrick Meek.

According to Wikipedia, Meek received numerous awards and honors. She received honorary doctor of laws degrees from the University of Miami, Florida A&M University, Barry University, Florida Atlantic University, and Rollins College.
