Armed clashes intensified in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces, with the collapse of the truce on the first day of Eid al-Fitr. Dr. Amani Al-Taweel, advisor to Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, said that the indications at the level of the field situation confirm that the army forces are on the verge of a military settlement in Khartoum in the coming days, especially after the issuance of a decision to disband the RSF and declare it a rebel force. And she added: If this matter takes place, there will be a decisive party, which is the army, and then it will be able to impose its political vision for the country despite the pressures of the international community.

And it believed that if this scenario materialized, the Rapid Support Forces would head to the desert and move away from the civilians who still protect them, and the battles would move outside the capital, Khartoum.

And the African affairs expert told Okaz that the decisiveness that the Sudanese army is talking about means that the Rapid Support Commander surrenders himself to the army or continues to fight until he is eliminated, and Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo may be stationed in Darfur as a focal point, which threatens the return of Darfur to what It was before 2003. And she considered that the Sudanese tribes will have a major role in resolving the crisis or its continuation, revealing that those close to “Hemedti” advised him to calm down and not escalate the dispute with Al-Burhan, because the military institution stands behind him, and the country’s conditions do not tolerate a conflict that can That leads to security chaos.

And she warned that if the current crisis is not resolved, Sudan is on the verge of a dangerous stage, and the regional situation will be in a state of weakness for Sudan, ruling out the interference of any Arab or regional parties in Sudanese affairs, because the entire situation is under the eyes of the international community, and such interference will be criminalized. And if there is political communication, this communication will not be to support one party over another.
