Clarence James Martin Jr. Death – Cause of Death – 50 year old Clarence James Martin Jr., from Danville, was identified as the man killed in a deadly shooting in Danville. The incident happened on Wednesday, 17th of November 2021 in the 100 block of Rocklawn Avenue around 6:30 p.m. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Martin with a gunshot wound in front of a home. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
According to the Danville police a 43-year-old man from Ringgold arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds and was taken by helicopter for further treatment for his serious injuries. It is believed that both men were shot on Rocklawn Avenue. police said it was not a random shooting and they are not searching for a suspect.
Abc13News reported that the police have asked residents of Rocklawn Avenue community and the surrounding areas who may have surveillance cameras of any type to please contact the Danville Police Department.
