Officials to the Horry County Police Department are investigating a shooting incident late Thursday that left four adults hospitalized.
Authorities say the incident happened at the late hours of Thursday at the Long Branch Swamp Road. Responding EMS located four individuals suffering from life-threatening injuries consistent with gunshots. The four unidentified individuals were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
HCPD says the incident is not a threat to the public. No suspect information was immediately given.
Few routes were closed to traffic for about an hour as investigators search the scene for evidence markers.
