Garang Hakim Aluong Death – Cause Of Death: 37-year-old Garang Hakim Aluong was identified as the victim of the fatal shooting that happened at the 700 block of S Minnesota Avenue outside Giliberto’s in central Sioux Falls on Sunday 7th November 2021.
According to information by the police, approximately 40 people were in the parking lot of Giliberto’s on Minnesota Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. when two groups of people engaged in a dispute, one of the people removed a gun and shot into the crowd, hitting one, and hurting two others. Garang Hakim Aluong was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries suffered. The two other victims have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
The identity of the injured victims has not been released. No arrests have been made in regards to the shooting, the case is still under investigation. police appeal to anyone with information on the shooting to call Crimestoppers at 877-367-7007 or submit a tip online or through the P3 app.
