Robert Lee “Sam” Huff Sr. Death – Cause of Death – An American football linebacker, Robert Lee “Sam” Huff Sr. has sadly passed away at the age of 87. Robert was in the National Football League for the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins.
Sam Huff sadly passed away on Saturday, 13th of November 2021 in Winchester, Va. His daughter, Catherine Huff Myers, confirmed his death, in a hospital saying Huff learned he had dementia in 2013. He played college football for West Virginia University.
According to New York Times, Sam Huff came out of the West Virginia coal country to host a defense that gained the kind of popularity that had previously been reserved for strong-armed quarterbacks and elusive runners. Sam Huff played with the Giants for 8 seasons and took part in 6 N.F.L. championship games. He was named to the all-league team three times and played in five Pro Bowls, New York Times mentioned.
Sam Huff was also a proud Mountaineer who often attended the games and practices of the Mountaineer Nation.
