The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Jeddah Governorate showed the statistics of the communications it received during the first 10 days of the month of Ramadan for the year 1444 AH, amounting to 5077 communications, to which the ambulance teams responded professionally.
The authority stated that the reports varied between sick cases, traffic accidents, and other reports. Reports of sick cases were the highest request for emergency teams, with 1069 reports. While the number of traffic accident reports reached 1064, the ambulance teams dealt with them efficiently through specialized human cadres and mechanisms equipped with the latest equipment necessary to provide an integrated ambulance service.
