Jodah Mullinax Cause of death: Jodah Mullinax, 40-year-old, of Pickens, an officer of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources was identified as the victim that was killed in a South Carolina DUI driver-motorbike accident on thanksgiving afternoon Thursday, November 25, 2021. Barry Mullinax on a Facebook post on Friday, November 26 shared that Mullinax was one of the most amazing, adventurous, big-hearted, giving, gentle, humble, kind, human beings he has ever been blessed to know.
On Thursday, November 25, 2021, Mullinax was riding a small motorbike north of Pickens when he was struck by Barney Louis Trotter, 33, of Pickens, South Carolina. He slowed down and was about to turn when he was struck by Barney who was driving a Dodge Charger. His bike hit an embankment and he was ejected from the bike he wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Barney is charged with felony DUI resulting in the death of Mullinax.
He was born on July 12, 1981, to Susan. He is a student of Travelers Rest High School Class of 1999, He graduated from Lander University. He was an officer of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is a South Carolina state agency charged with regulating hunting, fishing, boating, duck stamp orders, and the conservation efforts of the state government. It is directed by a seven-member Board of Directors.
