Fred O’Bannon Death – Cause of Death – Fred O’Bannon, Louisville paving and construction worker, was fatally shot to death while on the job around 2:30 a.m. Friday, 19th of November 2021. According to Police, Fred was working on the interstate near Dixie Highway when a man walked up to the construction site and killed him. 25 year old Keyshaun Joseph Canard Stewart who has been identified as the suspect in the murder then shot an officer in the face who was doing traffic control.
Fred leaves behind a fiancé and children. News outlets revealed that the suspect, Keyshaun was shot by the injured officer and was taken to a hospital but both the suspect and the officer are expected to survive. Police said on Thursday morning that they aren’t sure about a motive yet. Investigations will be carried out by the Kentucky State Police.
WLKY News said in a Facebook post; “This is Fred O’Bannon. He worked for Louisville Paving and Construction and was on a job on the interstate near Dixie Highway when a man walked up to the construction site, and shot and killed him. O’Bannon’s employer said he leaves behind a fiance and children. They said he had been working with them since April 2020 and was a ‘highly respected and committed member of our team.'”
