Dewayne White Death : Moncks Corner Police say a man identified as, 35-year-old Askari Rashad Dash has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal shooting in a restaurant in Moncks Corner early Sunday.
The Moncks Corner man was charged in a shooting that took place at the early hours of Sunday Nov. 21st 2021, in the Atlantis Restaurant and Lounge at 484 N. US Hwy 52, Suite 110, according Moncks Corner Police Department. Responding officers located the victim, 25-year-old Dewayne White of Moncks Corner, shot and killed in the scene, according to Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
The victim Dash was transported to the hospital, for treatments for his injuries, and will be lodged at the Berkeley County Detention Center upon release from the hospital. This story will be updated.
