A shooting in Ballyfermot area has left a man hospitalized in critical condition, the search for the suspect is active, Gardaí say.
The shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ballyfermot Crescent in Dublin 20. Responding officers located an unknown man suffering from injuries consistent with gunshots. He was transported to the hospital. No one else was wounded in the shooting.
A crime scene has been marked out as detectives investigates the incident. No suspect information was immediately given. Gardaí is urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or with footage from the Ballyfermot Crescent area last night to make available the video to Gardaí in Ballyfermot.
