Cedrick Parker Death : Authorities are probing a shooting incident in the parking lot of Charcoal Lounge that left 38-year-old Cedrick Parker dead, and four others injured.
According to Baton Rouge Police Department , officials were called to the clubs parking lot on Plank Road at about 2:00 a.m. Arriving officers located Parker suffering from fatal gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other victims were also located at the scene suffering from non-life threatening injuries consistent with gunshots. They were transferred to an area hospital for treatments.
No suspect information was released. Detectives are working to understand the motive in the shooting.
