The mobile food laboratories of the Holy Capital Municipality – Municipalities Agency – have started their work near the courtyards of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, in order to ensure the validity of the food provided to the pilgrims, coinciding with the start of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Municipal Agency in the Holy Capital Secretariat, represented by the General Administration of Licensing and Food Safety, has equipped mobile laboratories designed according to the highest standards and criteria, to carry out its assigned role in examining food and meals provided to visitors and pilgrims.
This comes within the framework of the keenness of the Holy Capital Municipality, represented by the Municipal Agency, to ensure the safety of food provided to pilgrims and visitors to the Sacred House of God, and with close follow-up from the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, within an integrated system to provide services from all agencies that operate around the clock in the Holy Mosque of Mecca.
