Yesterday (Sunday), the British newspaper “The Telegraph” revealed that about 200 barrels of oil had leaked in the port of Poole in the British county of Dorset, stressing that it threatened the Amazon River. The Telegraph quoted the Poole Harbor Commissionners as saying the situation was being assessed, calling on people not to swim in the water until further notice.

And she said: "About 200 barrels of oil liquid leaked into the water in the port of Paul, and everyone who touched the liquid must wash immediately with soap and water," describing the incident, which occurred on the oil pipeline operated by Perenco, as "serious."
