Alan Brown Death – Cause of Death – 57 year old Alan Brown has died on Saturday 13 November 2021. He was the Provost of East Dunbartonshire Council.
Reports have disclosed that in 2017, Brown was elected to represent the people of Bishopbriggs South as a Councillor. Provist Brown was honoured to be elected as Provost of East Dunbartonshire in the year that he was elected.
From 1999 to 2007, he served the people of the Cadder and Langbrae ward as a Councillor. Friends, acquaintances and family members have paid tributes to Provist Brown. He will be sincerely missed.
According to a post made by East Dun Council; “It is with great sadness that the Council confirms the sudden death of our Provost, Alan Brown, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this devastating time. RIP”
Alan Moir said; “I am deeply saddened & truly shocked to learn this morning of the sudden passing of Provost Alan Brown. My thoughts & prayers are with friends & colleagues but more so his wife, Catherine & their boys. RIP Provost.”
