The Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, announced that the 32nd Arab summit will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 19, following the consultations conducted by the Secretary-General of the League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, with the government of the Kingdom, and its welcome to hold the summit on the aforementioned date.
And the university stated in a statement today (Sunday) that the upcoming summit will be preceded by several preparatory meetings at the level of senior officials and ministers, in preparation for holding it over a period of five days.
It is noteworthy that the year 2023 is also expected to witness the holding of an Arab development summit in Mauritania and the Arab-African summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Secretary-General of the Arab League was likely to be the main topic of the summit economic and deals with how to help the Arab regions in need.
