The patrols of the security regiments in Al-Ardah Governorate in the Jazan region arrested a citizen for transporting him in a vehicle driven by 3 violators of the border security system of Yemeni nationality.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Interior’s agency for security regiments confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system to the Kingdom, or transfers them within it, or provides them with shelter, or provides them assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine. Money amounting to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defamation.
He explained that this crime is considered one of the major crimes that necessitate arrest, and violates honor and trust, urging the reporting of violators of residence, work and border security regulations at the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
