Pete Nairne Death – Cause of Death – The news about the passing of Pete Nairne was mentioned in a release made on the 16th of November 2021 by Scottish Rugby Podcast. Pete Nairne a very popular and talented guitarist, sadly passed away in November 2021 at the age of 43. Pete was the heart of his band, and his riffs and constant quest for an elusive “perfect” guitar tone always left his listeners intrigued.
Friends described Pete as a shy, but funny man, and his genius often had to be drawn out into the light, especially on stage. He was always happier in rehearsals or a studio, where there was time for socialising, tinkering with sound and music, and chatting. Pete loved family and spending time with family and friends was massively important for him. He was a player, songwriter, musical brother and above all as a great friend.
He will be greatly missed. We extend our condolences, thoughts and prayers to Pete’s family and Rory, Derek and Iain. The funeral will be on Thursday attended by family and friends. Donations to the Highland Hospice, via the D. Chisholm & Sons FB page can be made in his memory.
