The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance inaugurated programs for the gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques from the Holy Qur’an, distribution of dates, and iftar for fasting people in the Kingdom of Thailand, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Thailand, Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Suhaibani.
In a speech he delivered during a ceremony held on the occasion, Ambassador Al-Suhaibani affirmed that these programs are a continuation of the Kingdom's efforts to serve Islam and Muslims all over the world and within the framework of its great humanitarian work.
A number of Islamic personalities in Thailand expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom for its efforts and humanitarian work in their country.
The weight of the distributed dates is 10 tons, benefiting more than 55,000 beneficiaries. The breakfast project targets about 100,000 beneficiaries, and distributes 250,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an.
