Tykeiria Moody Death – Cause of Death – 24-year-old Tykeiria Moody, from Clayton County, was killed in a deadly shooting during a domestic fight on Sunday, 21st of November 2021. According to police reports, Alexander Miles, 29, from Clayton County, is in custody after fatally shooting his girlfriend, later identified as Moody, during fight. Reports says that he then called Twiggs County police to the scene. The incident occurred on I-16 while the couple was driving from Brunswick back to their home in Atlanta.
Deputies were called to the scene around 9:25 AM on Sunday. Miles told authorities that Moody tried to shot him and he allegedly grabbed the gun from Moody and then shot her. Investigations revealed that Moody was shot at least five times. She was taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon to be treated but died from her injuries, reports stated.
Miles is charged with murder, possessing a firearm while committing a felony, and two counts of aggravated assault. The charges fall under family violence. Investigation is underway.
