Montavious Raines and James Christopher Smith Death – Cause of Death – 18-year-old Montaveous Raines of Macon and 44-year-old James Christopher Smith were identified as the victims of two separate homicide that happened in Macon. Reports states that these homicides are Macon’s 50th and 51st of the year. According to reports, one of the homicide happened in the 1200 block of Rice Place just after 7:00 p.m. and the other was at the Lake Wildwood Baptist Church on 701 Greentree Parkway.
Smith who lives in Macon but is from Bainbridge was reportedly shot in a vehicle on Rice Place just after 7:00 p.m. and Smith was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent and was pronounced deceased by hospital personnel. Montavious was shot and killed at Lake Wildwood Baptist Church on 701 Greentree Parkway.
