Wallace David Fine Death – Cause of Death – The man found dead from a gunshot wound in Avondale Park, has been identified by authorities as 67 year old Wallace David Fine. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said the incident took place on Wednesday, 17th of November 2021.
When officers got to the scene around 5 a.m., they found Fine fatally shot and unresponsive on a park bench. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:20 a.m. Birmingham police said initially that his death was being investigated as a homicide. Reports states that no gun was found near him.
Authorities said late Wednesday, that Fine’s death was being investigated as a possible suicide and that the autopsy did not indicate any foul play. No additional information has been released.
