Trails Carolina Death – This is a scary story of a teenage boy who went for camping in the North Carolina but couldn’t make it back alive. The boy who was 17-year-old at the time of his death was said to have wandered from a wilderness treatment camp but didn’t return. His sudden disappearance occasioned a two-week search for him. Sadly, his was found dead and his body recovered.
According to a report by MemesRandom, WYFF quoted an autopsy report saying that Alec Lansing’s body was located in a stream in the Nantahala National Forest after falling from a tree on Saturday and fractured due to hypothermia.
Alec was reportedly to have come from Atlanta. He was a camper on the Carolina Trail and was with everyone before his sudden disappearance after he left his counselor on November 10.
“According to reports, the 17-year-old was a student on the Carolina Trail in Toksaway Lake, North Carolina, before leaving. The camp describes itself as providing long-term help to troubled youth. According to its website, the camp describes itself as providing long-term assistance to “problematic youths experiencing academic failure or families seeking crisis intervention”. It is not clear how long Lansing has been a student in the camp,” MemesRandom reported
Alec Lansing Cause of Death
A death investigation report released by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner shows Lansing ran away from his campsite, climbed up a tree and fell. He landed in a stream and broke his femur, where he was unable to move.
